And there's nine of 'em here that are part of this. How do we know that the layouts are associated with this? It's this dotted line that you see that connects it to each of the layouts. You want to think of this as the top level of a hierarchy in any changes or customizations that you make to this Slide Master, they're going to carry through to each of the slide layouts that are associated with this. That is because this is the Slide Master. And this slide at the very top, you'll notice how it's bigger than the other slides in this area. Now, I'm going to go ahead and scroll to the top of this area. So these are groupings of tools that will help you customize the Slide Master. We're over here working in the Slide Master ribbon. You'll notice, we're no longer in the View ribbon. The first is the contextual ribbon that comes with this view. Now, if you've not worked with Slide Masters before, there's two areas you're going to want to get really familiar with. Next, we're going to go over here to the Master Views group and select Slide Master. Now, to get to the Slide Master, the first thing we need to do is go to the View ribbon. You can control the theme and layout of your presentation slides by customizing the Slide Master.
